Workshop and primary operations - The business's main operations, including production, customization (embroidery, silk screening), and administrative work takes place at Ekangala Dark City.
Retail Outlet - To expand their market reach and retail presence, they have a rented store at Phola Mall. This store serves as a crucial point for displaying finished products and selling directly to residents and passing customers.
Challenges/Needs:
Lack of marketing and market reach: The business struggled significantly to reach its target audience and secure new projects. There were no formal marketing activities in place. Despite having a retail store at Phola Mall and fulfilling school orders, they were invisible to wider pool of potential clients in the region they wished to supply.
Inadequate operational capacity: Following the employment of 5 additional staff members to handle growing demand, operating equipment became insufficient as a result of fire at their workshop . This lack of necessary machinery and tools threatened their ability to fulfill larger orders efficiently and maintain quality, limiting their production capacity and potential for growth.
