Intervention Details: Following the assessment, SEDFA facilitated access to finance through the SEDFA Asset Assist Programme. Through this programme, the client applied for and received support to acquire specialised equipment in the form of a purpose-built vehicle required for their operations.
Outcome Details: Outcomes / Results:
The business successfully acquired a specialised vehicle through the SEDFA Asset Assist Programme, enabling it to meet industry compliance requirements for transporting explosives.

Following the approval of the Asset Assist funding, the company secured a contract with Enaex Africa, significantly strengthening its market position.

The business recorded improvements in financial performance, profitability, and employment creation.

Turnover Growth
The company’s turnover increased significantly following the intervention. At the initial assessment, turnover was recorded at R487,825.00. During a follow-up assessment conducted in March 2025, turnover had increased to R1,020,482.00, reflecting an increase of R532,657.00.

Profitability:
The business also recorded a notable improvement in profitability. Net profit increased from -R2,870.00 (a loss) to R29,733.00, representing an improvement of R32,603.00.
