While their service and facilities were exceptional, brand awareness remained a barrier to broader growth. Recognizing the need to scale, Mr. Khoza sought support from the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency (Sedfa) to refine their growth strategy
                                        
                                
                                Intervention Insights and Results
                                        Intervention Details:
                                            Sedfa used a tool called the Small Business Assessment Tool to identify appropriate interventions that will assist Zingela Gueshouse in reaching the desired levels of growth. After completing these assessments, Sedfa decided to assist with developing an eye-catching signage to increase visibility, attract new customers, assist the business owner to increase brand awareness and increase revenues while retaining their existing customers as well. 
                                        
                                
                                
                                        Outcome Details:
                                            As a result of Sedfa's intervention, the company achieved the following improvements:
	
• Turnover increased from R13 077 to R13 200
• The company increased employment from Three (03) to Five (05) people, 4 permanent and only one on a contract.
• The business has been able to attract not only local clients but Government Departments as well, i.e. The Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs).
